Rosberg confident Monaco woes were a one-off

Nico Rosberg is confident that his struggles in the Monaco Grand Prix were a one-off caused by a unique set of circumstances, rather than being something that might derail his world championship bid. The German struggled for pace in the wet opening phase of the race – and was told to move aside for team-mate Lewis Hamilton, whose pace was much faster. Analysis of what went wrong has pointed to Rosberg's dramas being caused by a negative spiral of low brake and tyre temperatures, leaving him unable to push the car, which in turn led to a further drop-off in temperatures.
