Bite-size tech: Williams FW38 rear wing

Williams has been disappointed by its recent form, having slipped to being the fourth-best team owing to the resurgence of Red Bull. The Grove-based squad, however, will take solace in the fact that its car has performed better at circuits that require less downforce, something that can be said of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, albeit the long straights there are punctuated by slower corners. The FW38 has been furnished with a new rear wing as the team looks to overcome these aerodynamic compromises, as changes have been made to not only the flaps, but also the endplates too.
