Manor drivers rue 'tough', 'difficult' Monaco
Manor Racing Manor drivers Pascal Wehrlein and Rio Haryanto were left to rue a "tough" Monaco Grand Prix as the pair came home as the last classified runners. Wehrlein originally placed 13th but was demoted behind Haas' Romain Grosjean after he received two 10-second time penalties. Wehrlein was deemed to have transgressed during the Virtual Safety Car period and then ignored blue flags, the sanctions demoting him to 14th spot. "It was quite tough to be honest," said Wehrlein of his first Monaco Grand Prix. "Early on in the race, with the track staying quite wet, we decided to stay out on the extreme tyre and run longer.
