Sauber drivers apologise after clash

– Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr have apologised to their Sauber team after they collided during the Monaco Grand Prix, which led to both drivers retiring from the race.Sauber repeatedly asked Nasr to move aside for Ericsson, but Nasr ignored the request, and Ericsson dived up the inside of his team-mate at La Rascasse, resulting in contact.Shortly afterwards, Nasr and Ericsson pitted with terminal damage."We had taken a bit of a gamble, so I was first to pit for slicks," said Ericsson."It worked out, but it was not ideal as I was caught out by blue flags.
