Verstappen to start Monaco GP from pits
– Red Bull has confirmed that Max Verstappen will start the Monaco Grand Prix from the pit lane, after he crashed out of qualifying on Saturday.Verstappen clipped the kerb on the inside of the revised Piscine chicane, breaking his suspension, before he suffered a secondary impact with the barriers on the outside of the corner. The accident occurred during Q1 with Verstappen yet to set a representative lap time, leaving him 21st on the grid, ahead only of Sauber's Felipe Nasr, who suffered an engine failure. In removing Verstappen's car from parc ferme conditions, it permits Red Bull to make any changes it wishes, with wet weather forecast for Sunday's Grand Prix.
