Alonso struggling despite Q3 appearance

– Fernando Alonso says he is struggling with the handling of McLaren's Honda-powered MP4-31 despite another Q3 appearance in Monaco.Alonso, who also made the pole position shootout at his home event in Spain, edged into the top 10 for a second straight weekend.Alonso is set to start ninth, after Kimi Räikkönen's grid drop, but reckons he will need rain to make any significant progress up the order."Our main goal today was to get into Q3," said Alonso."But I still don't really feel confident with the car – I didn't have a perfect feeling with it [in qualifying], and I wasn't therefore confident enough to really attack the corners."Our predictions were maybe a...
