Raikkonen gets gearbox change penalty

Kimi Raikkonen will lose five places on the grid of the Monaco Grand Prix following a gearbox change. The Finn, who finished nearly a full second off teammate Sebastian Vettel's pace in final practice, needed a new gearbox before qualifying. The gearbox hit trouble when it went to neutral during FP3. Under current rules, each driver may use just one gearbox for six consecutive events. The change means a five-place grid penalty for Raikkonen. It is the second such penalty for Ferrari this year, after Vettel was also forced to change his gearbox in Russia.
