Ricciardo, Magnussen to receive Renault gains

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussen will receive Renault's upgraded power unit at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. Ricciardo and Magnussen both trialled the power unit during last week's in-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and were encouraged by the progress made by Renault. Renault originally intended to bring the upgrade to Canada but that has now been brought forwards, with two power units available across the four Renault-powered cars in Monaco. Max Verstappen and Jolyon Palmer will have to wait until the Canadian Grand Prix in June before they receive the upgraded specification.
