Bottas searching for first Monaco points

Williams Martini Racing Valtteri Bottas says he is hoping to score points in Monaco for the first time in his Formula 1 career at the fourth attempt this weekend. Bottas was 12th in an uncompetitive Williams in 2013 before retiring with engine woe in 2014. Last year the Finn struggled to a lowly 14th as the outfit lacked pace in the Principality. Monaco is the only venue where Bottas has yet to collect a point, a statistic he hopes to amend this weekend. "Monaco is a unique grand prix and really challenging as a track for the drivers, especially mentally, as you have to keep focused for the whole race distance and a good qualifying lap is crucial," he said.
