Renault set to debut upgraded power unit in Monaco

Renault looks set to debut its new upgraded power unit at the Monaco Grand Prix next weekend as it looks to move up the pecking order, as well as deliver customer team Red Bull a step forward to help it challenge Mercedes more regularly. The manufacturer had originally scheduled a Canada debut for the B-spec unit, but following a successful test this week which proved the engine was delivering what they believed it would - around half a second per lap at some circuits - that schedule has been brought forward.
