Renault eyes engine upgrade at Monaco
Renault Sport Renault has confirmed that it intends to bring its upgraded power unit to next weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The manufacturer debuted its B-spec power unit during in-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with drivers from both Renault and Red Bull noting a step forwards. Renault originally planned to bring the upgrades to Canada but has now decided to introduce the update at the upcoming round in Monaco. "The current power unit used since Australia has had several smaller upgrades and all the drivers were very happy with the standard in Spain," said Renault engine chief Remi Taffin.
