Bite-size tech: Mercedes' revised Y150 winglet
Mercedes will look to employ a new Y150 winglet in Spain, featureing an additional slot in the upper element. The slot will promote stability, with focus being shifted toward a higher downforce configuration rear wing at the Circuit De Catalunya. Aside from the new slot it's also worth drawing your attention to the application of heat-reflecting paint on the crash structure's upper surface, with the interior and leading edge of the winglet also being treated too.
