Button: Yet to show full potential

Although Jenson Button feels McLaren have made a 'big step forward', he concedes that they have yet to show their full potential. Heading into round four of the championship, McLaren have just one point on the board and that came courtesy of reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne, who replaced Fernando Alonso in Bahrain. Neither regular race driver has managed a top-ten result with Button admitting that although McLaren have made strides forward, they have yet to put in a perfect display. '[We are] not doing a good enough job possibly,' said Button. 'The last race was difficult 12th and 13th and you don't want to be there as a driver. But compared to last year every car finished.
