Origin Wednesdays: Manor Racing
The last surviving team from the 2010 influx, Manor Racing’s red cars have been a permanent fixture on our grid this decade outlasting the Caterham and HRT squads to still be racing today. It’s a testament to their guile that they’re still on the grid; the little team that could. Virgin Racing (2010) Virgin Racing was one of the three new teams that appeared in 2010 along with the introduction of proposed budget cap; a budget cap that never came. As a result the teams struggled to lift themselves off the bottom of the grid; sometimes around five seconds a lap slower than the more established marquees.
