Alonso: I’m fastest overall driver in F1 Double-time world champion, Fernando Alonso says that, he is still the best driver in Formula 1 overall and claims he could beat anyone in the same machine. The Spaniard has two titles to his name having claimed back-to-back success with Renault in 2005 and again 2006, the 35-year-old still believes that he is the best overall driver and is confident that he can win the drivers title for a third time.
