Marko hints at Verstappen promotion

– Red Bull motorsport consultant Helmut Marko has offered a hint that Max Verstappen is in line for a promotion to the senior team in 2017.Verstappen, 18, became the youngest driver in the history of the sport when he debuted for Toro Rosso last year, and has remained with the outfit this season, alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.Verstappen's future has been a key talking point after a series of eye-catching drives last year gained the attention of the leading teams."Very good drivers were always only with Toro Rosso for a maximum of two years and then went up [to Red Bull]," Marko told Auto Bild.
