Ricciardo Surprised with P5

Bahrain Grand Prix – Daniel Ricciardo admitted that he was surprised to finish the qualifying session in fifth place. The Red Bull Racing driver finished behind the battling Mercedes and Ferrari drivers as ‘best of the rest' at the Bahrain International Circuit. The result came as a surprise to many considering the circuit tending to favour the teams with the higher-performing Mercedes and Ferrari engines.
