Alonso could miss Chinese Grand Prix

Bahrain Grand Prix – Fernando Alonso revealed that it is 'not 100%' guaranteed that he will be able to race at the next event – the Chinese Grand Prix – after giving details of his injuries. The two-time world champion was ruled out of this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix after failing an FIA medical examination as a result of his crash at the Australian Grand Prix. Instead, reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne will make his Formula One debut. Alonso, however, was in attendance at the Thursday press conference and was asked about the extent of his injuries sustained in the crash.
