Alonso reveals he had a pneumothorax, broken rib

Fernando Alonso has revealed by broke a rib in his Australian Grand Prix accident and admits he is not 100 percent sure he will be able to race in China either. On Thursday, the McLaren driver was ruled out of the Bahrain Grand Prix after 90 minutes of tests carried out by FIA doctors in the Sakhir medical centre. "I have a broken rib and I'm in some pain so it's not easy to sleep," said Alonso during the official FIA press conference. "I would like to sit in the car and see how is the pain in the car and enjoy driving the car. You understand this is motorsport, every time you step in the car it is a risk."
