Sky Sports extends F1 broadcasting deal to 2024
Sky Sports has secured a contract extension with Formula 1 to show every Grand Prix live until 2024, and will take exclusive live rights in 2019. The British broadcaster has signed a new deal pushing its existing relationship until the end of the 2024 season and as part of the arrangement Sky Sports will be the only channel to show live races on its subscription channel, while making the British Grand Prix free-to-air. Bernie Ecclestone, CEO Formula One Group, said: "I am delighted that we will continue to work together. Sky's commitment to the sport and standard of coverage is second to none."
