Mercedes, Ferrari opt for different tyre approaches for Bahrain

Pirelli has revealed the Formula 1 teams' tyres choices for the the Bahrain Grand Prix, the second round of the 2016 season. Unlike in Australia, Mercedes teammates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have chosen the same tyres, picking one set of mediums, and six sets of softs and supersofts. Rival Ferrari, however, has opted for a different strategy, with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen opting to take three sets of mediums and four of softs. They, likewise, have chosen six sets of supersofts.
