Alonso 'lucky' to survive crash

Fernando Alonso and Esteban Gutierrez were fortunate to escape unharmed after a horror crash during the Australian GP. The McLaren and Haas cars collided at Turn Three in Albert Park, with the impact propelling the Spaniard's car into the barriers before overturning when it reached the gravel trap. Fortunately Alonso was able to climb out of his wrecked car before the race was red-flagged. "It was a scary moment and a scary crash," a relieved Alonso later told Sky Sports.
