Rio Haryanto 'excited' as he outqualifies Pascal Wehrlein
Australian Grand Prix – Manor rookie Rio Haryanto may have blotted his copybook by picking up a grid penalty in FP3, but recovered to outqualify lauded teammate Pascal Wehrlein in their first competitive session together. Haryanto was involved in a pitlane accident with Haas' Romain Grosjean during FP3, an incident that ended up being investigated by the race stewards. He was found guilty of causing the accident, and given a grid penalty and penalty points. Moving into qualifying, both Manors were eliminated in Q1 and will start from the very back of the grid. However, they weren't in the order that many were predicting, as DTM Champion Pascal Wehrlein was outstripped by the time...
