Mercedes, Ferrari dismiss Ecclestone criticism

– Mercedes' Toto Wolff and Ferrari's Maurizio Arrivabene have both strongly dismissed suggestions from Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone that the manufacturers hold too much power within the sport.Ecclestone has been critical in recent months over the control which both manufacturers have, labelling the entire Formula 1 Commission as a "cartel."When these comments were put to team bosses during Friday's press conference in Australia, Wolff and Arrivabene both reacted strongly to such a suggestion."I don't think there is any cartel around here, nor is the sport run as a cartel," said Wolff."Bernie is always good for controversy and throwing one in.
