Mixed weather "an opportunity" for Red Bull - Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo believes the mixed weather conditions could offer Red Bull a chance to do better than expected in the Australian Grand Prix. The first two practice sessions of the season-opening event took place in on a damp track after the rain hit the circuit as predicted. Red Bull driver Ricciardo finished FP2 in fourth place, having been third-quickest in the morning. "I think anything that is a little bit variable for now will suit us," said Ricciardo. "So, it is a shame that we didn't get to do more laps today but I am not too frustrated with the position we are in.
