Red Bull announces Aston Martin deal

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull has announced a partnership with luxury sportscar manufacturer Aston Martin, which will see Adrian Newey assist with the design of a hypercar. Aston Martin had been in discussions with Force India over a collaboration but a deal with Red Bull has now been struck, which will see its logos appear on the RB12 in Formula 1. "This is a very exciting project for everyone at Red Bull Racing," said team boss Christian Horner. "Through this innovation partnership the iconic Aston Martin logo will return to Grand Prix racing for the first time since 1960, and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, led by Adrian, will be using Formula One DNA to produce the...
