Alonso against ‘strange' radio clampdown

Fernando Alonso has cast doubt over whether Formula 1's new 'strange' radio clampdown will have an impact on grand prix weekends. As of this season Formula 1 teams have had further restrictions placed on what they can say to their drivers over the radio. This latest clampdown is intended to put the onus on drivers, making Formula 1 a bit more difficult for them. However, Alonso doubts it will have any impact at all. 'I don't think it's going to change much,' he said. 'There is definitely a limited amount of things that we can talk on the radio now or receive.
