Sauber technical director Mark Smith quits team

Technical director Mark Smith has left the Sauber Formula 1 team less than a year after having joined the Swiss squad. The Hinwil-based outfit said in a brief statement on Monday that Smith had decided to go back to the UK for family reasons.
