Winter Testing: What we learned

WITH THE FIRST RACE of the 2016 Formula 1 world championship just two weeks away, JORDAN HARVEY takes a look at what was learnt from the eight days of Winter Testing. Mercedes still firm favourites: The amount of mileage Mercedes covered during the eight days of testing was unprecedented. According to F1.com, they covered 6024 kilometres, some 1,141 kilometres further than Toro Rosso who covered the second amount of kilometres. Mercedes have also looked the fastest, albeit only topping two days. However, Nico Rosberg has urged caution, saying to Sky Sports: 'Ferrari have been very quick.
