Pirelli 'satisfied' after pre-season testing
– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has declared itself "satisfied" with the performance of its various tyre compounds over the eight days of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Pirelli completed extensive running with its Ultra Soft (new for the 2016 campaign), Super Soft, Soft, Medium and Hard dry-weather tyres, and also briefly ran its Intermediate and Full Wet rubber.Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen posted the overall best time of 1:22.765 on the Ultra Soft tyre, while Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen recorded the longest stint, logging 29 laps on the Medium tyre.Pirelli Motorsport Director Paul Hembery said the results fell within Pirelli's...
