Exclusive Q&A – Haas' Guenther Steiner
With Haas putting in what could be regarded as a dream start to their 2016 campaign with a successful test last week, team boss Guenther Steiner sat down to chat with Thomas Maher about the team's pre-season preparations. The Haas hospitality unit has been a very positive place to be over the course of the last week in Barcelona. Working out of a makeshift marquee unit beside a team truck, the atmosphere is positive, the mechanics are smiling, and the PR guys are friendly and approachable. Such is the enthusiasm of the drivers Esteban Gutierrez & Romain Grosjean, they are here even on the days they aren't driving – laughing and joking with team owner Gene Haas at the next table...
