Arai to stand down as Honda F1 boss
Yasuhisa Arai will step down from his role as Honda's motorsport boss, making way for Yusuke Hasegawa at the end of the month. Arai has been at the helm as Honda returned to Formula 1 with McLaren, however, the partnership failed to replicate the successes of yesteryear. Instead Honda were largely blamed for McLaren's poor form which resulted in just 27 points the entire 2015 season. The team also claimed an unprecedented 105-place penalty for the Belgium GP such was Honda's dismal reliability. As such Arai is now set to step down from his role, handing the reins to Hasegawa on March 1st.
