Mercedes set to sample 'unusual' parts
– Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff says that the outfit is planning to trial some "unusual" parts over the course of the opening pre-season test session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Mercedes started the test in ominous fashion as Lewis Hamilton racked up 156 laps with the F1 W07 on Monday, more mileage than its predecessor, the F1 W06, had clocked at the same stage last year.Paddy Lowe, the team's technical chief, described "mini revolutions" under the skin of the newly-launched car, but more visible changes are set to be displayed as the week develops, according to Wolff."I think we are having some bits which are maybe slightly unusual,"...
