Wolff: 'Unusual' test parts to come

Some ‘surprising' components will be fitted the W07 during pre-season testing, according to Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff. Rumours emerged during the first day of testing that experimental parts are to be fitted to the car in tomorrow's test session. However, when asked by the media, Wolff did not specify a day for trialling the components, but he indicated that they could be used during the first pre-season test this week.
