New Mercedes W07 takes to the track
ercedes has today completed the first laps with its 2016 challenger, the W07 Hybrid, ahead of official pre-season testing in Spain next week.The car took to the track for the first time at Silverstone, with the reigning World Champions completing just under 100km at the home of the British Grand Prix.Both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were on hand to sample the car for the first time, with Rosberg driving the car for much of the day prior to Hamilton taking to the track towards the end of the promotional event.Teams are allowed a number of private testing days complete with a mileage cap, however both Rosberg and Hamilton will drive the car extensively at the first official pre-season...
