No Channel 4 move for BBC's Suzi Perry
Formula 1's coverage in the UK will have a new lead presenter, after Suzi Perry revealed she would not be moving from the BBC to Channel 4. Perry has fronted the BBC's F1 coverage since 2013, having previously presented the channel's MotoGP broadcasts from 1997 until 2009. Although a number of the BBC staff involved with F1 are moving to C4 to help its coverage, which is being co-ordinated by David Coulthard and Jake Humphrey's Whisper Productions company, Perry will not be moving across. In a tweet on Friday night, she ruled herself out of both F1 on Channel 4 and any role in the revamped BBC Top Gear show.
