Former Ferrari chief engineer Chris Dyer joins Renault

Renault has confirmed it has hired former Ferrari chief engineer Chris Dyer, with the Australian taking up the position of Head of Vehicle Performance at Enstone. Renault has made a number of key signings as part of its recruitment drive following its takeover of the Lotus team, with Dyer the latest addition. The Ex-Ferrari man began his career with Arrows in 1997, working as Damon Hill's chief data engineer, but would later become Michael Schumacher's race engineer at Ferrari in '01, overseeing Schumacher's '03 and '04 titles.
