Berger calls for ‘more action' in Formula 1

Former Formula One driver Gerhard Berger has called for Formula One to improve the show, with emphasis being on the drivers and the racing. The ten-time Grand Prix winner, whose career spanned across fourteen seasons, has shared his opinion on the current state of Formula One, and suggested that the cars are becoming too easy to drive. In an interview, Berger drew comparisons with the cars he drove and the ones seen today, and made claims of the races being too predictable. 'Fans want to see more fighting on track and more action,' Berger said to the newspaper Salzburg Nachrichten. 'Back in my time a F1 car was like a loose cannon. 'We had 1,400 bhp and didn't have so many driving aids....
