Analysis: FIA wants closed cockpit plan ready for 2017

Formula 1 faces a crunch meeting at Heathrow on Friday, when technical chiefs are due to get together to try to make progress in agreeing a 2017 rules overhaul to make cars faster. But while there remain disagreements over the scope of aerodynamic revisions, there is one key item on the agenda where all those present will be pulling in one direction and hope to produce some definitive answers.
