PICS: F1 back on French soil in Paul Ricard Pirelli test

The two-day wet tyre Pirelli test is underway in Paul Ricard, the first time F1 cars have been seen on track since the 2015 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix finale in November. Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren are present at the southern France venue with drivers Kimi Raikkonen, Daniel Ricciardo and Stoffel Vandoorne, the trio putting in the miles for a carefully arranged testing programme devised by Pirelli. The test is strictly for 2015-specification cars only, with the Paul Ricard HTTT has been chosen due to its trackside sprinkler system that can ensure the circuit remains wet.
