Renault releases ‘Hear Us Coming’ promo clip

©Renault Renault has released its first promotional video clip ahead of its comeback as a fully-fledged Formula One team in 2016. The French manufacturer ended months of speculation last December when it finally completed its takeover of Lotus, buying a 90% stake in the cash-strapped Enstone outfit. Company CEO Carlos Ghosn immediately warned that it would take three years to return to winning ways, with senior management expecting the upcoming campaign to be a transitional season. Renault will entrust its new challenger to the hands of British rookie Jolyon Palmer and Pastor Maldonado, though the Venezuelan’s seat remains under threat due to concerns over his PDVSA sponsorship.
