Former Ferrari chief designer Tombazis joins Manor
Ferrari's former chief designer, Nikolas Tombazis, has joined the Manor Formula 1 team in the role of chief aerodynamicist and will begin with immediate effect. The Greek designer spent 16 years with the Italian outfit, but left at the end of the 2014 season when the team underwent a major restructure following several disappointing seasons. The 47-year-old has also previously worked with Benetton and McLaren. Speaking about his move to Manor, Tombazis said he was impressed with how the outfit had grown and laid down solid foundations for a strong future in F1.
