Haas cleared for testing after passing final F1 crash test

The new Anglo-American Haas team has moved another step closer its Formula 1 debut after passing its final mandatory FIA crash test on Friday. The Banbury-based team, which is entering F1 in partnership with Ferrari but with a Dallara-designed chassis, completed its tests at the Bollate Csi facility in Italy. It is believed to be the first team to have successfully gone through the crash test process, and been achieved despite the extra challenges faced by what sources have suggested is a short-nose concept.
