Perez advises Verstappen: Maximise your opportunities

Sergio Perez says he expects to see Max Verstappen 'get better through the years', advising the youngster that he should maximise his opportunities even if he doesn't end up in the 'right team at the right time'. Verstappen was the breakout star of the 2015 F1 season, the rookie making headlines as the youngest driver to start – and then score in – an F1 grand prix, before going on to produce a series of impressive performances, including two fourth place finishes. Racing with Toro Rosso under what is believed to be a long-term Red Bull contract, Verstappen is nonetheless reportedly also being considered for a swoop by Mercedes and Ferrari.
