Track of the Year: Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
Let's get this straight: Spa-Francorchamps would typically win every Track of the Year award and our readers made that point quite clear in the poll, but we went the emotional route and Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez gets the award this time around. Sure the 2015 Mexican Grand Prix was in the end a boring race, there was very little grip on the new track surface and the title race was already decided – so why this decision? Because Mexico returned to the Formula 1 calendar with a bang! Fans made the race an unforgettable spectacle as they crowded into the renovated facility named after their greatest racing heroes.
