Ecclestone critical of Mercedes approach

– Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has criticised Mercedes for not agreeing to supply Red Bull with power units in 2016, as its rival team searched for an alternative.Red Bull, having initially opted to split from Renault, approached Mercedes regarding a potential engine deal at the British Grand Prix, but the talks proved unsuccessful.Red Bull was also denied by Ferrari, which would only offer a 2015-spec unit, and McLaren engine supplier Honda, after Ron Dennis used a veto to block any arrangement."Really and truly Mercedes should have supplied an engine," Ecclestone told Sky Sports, when asked about his involvement in trying to help Red Bull find a unit for the 2016...
