FIA confirms 21 race long 2015 F1 calendar
The FIA’s World Motor Sport Council has confirmed a biggest ever 21 race calendar for the 2016 Formula 1 season. However, the future of the United States Grand Prix has been was into doubt, with the race, due to be held at the Circuit of Americas in October, listed as “subject to agreement with the promoter and the ASN.” The only revision to the last calendar published by the WMSC is that the Mexican Grand Prix has been moved forward by a week, as a back-to-back round with the provisional race at Austin. The date of the inaugural Azerbaijan Grand Prix, to be held in Baku, has been officially confirmed for June 19, meaning it will certainly now clash with the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans....
