Grosjean handed five place grid penalty

Romain Grosjean will start his final race for Lotus from the back row of the grid after receiving a five place grid penalty. The Frenchman originally qualified in 15th place for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, having failed to progress from the second part of qualifying after his car ground to a halt during his outlap in the final moments of the session. However, Grosjean's difficult final event for Lotus will be made harder by receiving a five-place grid penalty after it was discovered that his car would require a gearbox change.
