Daniel Ricciardo: “I’m happy with the session”
Daniel Ricciardo felt happy with his performance during qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Saturday as the Australian secured fifth place on the grid. The Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver felt he backed up his qualifying performance at the circuit from a year ago with another positive outcome in 2015, and is aiming to make progress during the race on Sunday, with Ricciardo hoping to find a way to overtake Sergio Perez while keeping the Williams pairing of Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa behind him. “I’m happy with the session; I think we’ve done really well,” said Ricciardo. “We were able to improve in every session and the weekend so far has been pretty smooth. “Our...
