Ex-Ferrari Academy racer Stroll gets Williams development role

Ex-Ferrari Academy member Lance Stroll has joined the Williams Formula 1 team’s young driver development programme. Stroll, 17, will undergo extensive simulator work, work placements with several factory departments, and specific race engineering and marketing training, in a similar capacity to that of current driver Valtteri Bottas when he joined the team in 2011.
